Three quick questions to Anne Graf

Anne Graf

We asked our colleague Anne Graf a few questions about her background and why she joined H2 Green Steel.

What is your role at H2 Green Steel?

I’m VP Infrastructure Services which involves being part of the team that’s preparing for the start of our operations in Boden. Once we’re up and running, this covers services that support the main processes of hydrogen- iron and steel production.

What is your background?

I’ve worked in marketing and business development for several years in London and Brussels. Since moving back home to northern Sweden, about ten years ago, I’ve worked with incoming investors in energy-intensive industries. Most recently, I had a senior role at Meta’s (former Facebook) Luleå Data Center. Previous to that, I was CEO of a data center operator in Boden, listed on the Canadian Stock Exchange.

What made you join H2 Green Steel and what is your favorite moment so far?

H2 Green Steel caught my attention because of its mission to decarbonize heavy polluting industries. I truly believe that the north of Sweden can play a major role in the green industrial revolution. When deciding to join, it was because of the very inspiring team that had been formed. I really wanted to be a part of it!

With fond memory I recall when my daughters were invited to join our CEO Henrik, the Mayor of Boden and the Governor of Norrbotten County at the official ground-breaking ceremony at our site in Boden. Ultimately, our purpose to decarbonize hard-to-abate-industries is all about the future of our children.
